Here is Chambre avec vues, a film in which a couple of travelers journey across Quebec in a room that offers a different view each morning. Never knowing what magnificent view will greet them upon waking, the two travelers take us on an adventure full of surprises, showing us the grandest and most authentic sights Quebec has to offer.

Chambre avec vues was designed as part of a documentary film for Tourisme Québec. The video, which quickly went viral, was created by the agency LG2 and produced by Cinélande.

For this unique project, L’Abri’s mandate consists of the design and production of the Room with a view, an unconventional star of this exceptional short film. The small structure had to be iconic and comfortable, yet light and sturdy enough to endure its incredible journey. It is fully dismountable. The aluminum frame and exterior cladding make it easy to dismantle and transport manually, while being rigid enough for helicopter transport or road travel. The wood interior, with minimalist lines, makes the small space cozy and warm. The removable side wall panels create large windows opening to the environment. The front facade fully opens, projecting the inhabitants of the Room into the landscape and framing the rich, infinite views of the Quebec territory.
